Franchise Opportunity!

Seeking a Franchise Opportunity?

I have a franchise opportunity for you that you need to pay close attention too. The franchise opportunity will only cost you upfront $1200. Yes, that is right ONLY $1200. You might be asking, well what’s wrong with it if it is only $1200? Before I give you all the inside secrets to this opportunity, I want to share with you some statistics with franchise opportunities in general.

The cost of owning franchises varies greatly. They can range anywhere from $10,000 and upwards to $5 million. Depending on what type of franchise you are looking to buy can determine the up front starting costs!

If you are looking for a restaurant franchise they can range from $750,000 to $3.5 million. Want to be in the lodging industry? You are looking at a $4 million to $6 million investment. What about home based internet business? Mobile and home-based businesses can range from $10,000 to $100,000. This is just the beginning of the money one needs to give up in order to own a franchise.

Even if you have the upfront cost, there are still other monies that you have to make sure that you have. Most franchises require that you have funds in the bank. Oh, and these have to be unborrowed funds! Even still, you will have to meet a minimum net worth even if you do have the unborrowed funds.

At this point, there are still quota requirements that your particular franchise wants you to meet in order to appease the corporation, who truly “owns” your company. Although the initial upfront costs have been taken care of, there still may be franchise fees, professional fees, advertising, property acquisition, insurances, equipment, decoration, landscaping, and many other various costs.

If you thought that was the end, do not worry there is still more! You will need to make sure that Corporate is happy. So… they will still demand a franchise royalty fee. This fee varies in range, but the average royalty is usually between 4-6%. This percentage is based upon the revenue your particular franchise brings in on a regular basis.

Oh, and do not forget the monthly mortgage, insurances, bills, employee headaches, property taxes, and many other various monthly expenses!

McDondald’s

Let’s take a popular requested, mid-range franchise! Mcdonald’s is probably one of the most sought out and investigated franchises in the world! Why? Because they are everywhere! They generate a lot of income! However, to even consider one, you must have at least $300,000 in non-borrowed money in order to even be considered! That is only to get a McDonald’s that is already in existence. If you want to make a new one, you will need to add an additional 40% down payment on top of the original amount. After all of the money is taken care of you still have to attend Hamburger University. That is a total amount of 32 hours of training!

Doesn’t this all sound delightful! Money, money, money out the door! The question still looms… how many years does it take to pay off the franchise loans before I really start making money. Obviously, this all depends on the franchise that you are buying into!  But most franchise owners it takes multiple years to gain their original return on investment.

Now that I have your attention! Let me tell you about my franchise opportunity.

Are You Listening?

Let’s get the hard part out of the way. My franchise opportunity typically costs around $1200 up front. You do not need to have any net worth. There are no brick and mortar buildings, no insurances, no employees, no employee headaches, no advertising fees, no corporate royalty fees, no equipment fees, no re-occurring mortgage fees, no overhead, etc, etc.! Many people pay off the initial investment within the first couple of months, not years!

It is the fastest growing franchise opportunity of our time. 50% of homes in the United States by the end of 2015 has had this type of franchise affect them personally. There are more millionaires made from this franchise opportunity per year than any other franchise opportunity in the world. Around 20% of these franchise owners say that their business’ gross between $100,000 and $500,000 per year. There is an estimated $34.5 billion annually in this type of franchise.

This franchise has an 85% success rate, as opposed to the 5% that traditional business affords. Since the 1950’s when this type of franchise started, there have been 8 major recessions. While the majority of traditional businesses were greatly affected, this type of franchise has only experienced significant growth. This type of franchise is currently in a massive upswing compared to the rest of the economy!

One of the main attractions to this type of business is the residual income. What is residual income? It is the ability to work once, but get continually paid over and over for the work you did previously! There are very few businesses out there that the Average Joe can buy into, and make residual income. This obviously is one of the biggest perks to this type of business.

This is also a business that you can work anywhere at any time all over the world! This is a major attraction to most people, as they are now considering other options outside of the dead end world of Corporate America. The computer age is here, and this franchise opportunity is already ahead of the curve! No robots can replace this business model!

What is it? I am glad you asked! It is Network Marketing! Most people have a stigma about it, but based on the last several paragraphs how could you? It is the fastest growing industry in the world. And as stated before, there are more millionaires coming from network marketing every year than any other industry in the world. What other franchise allows you to buy in at a fraction of the cost, make your money back in a few months, develop a residual income empire, and allows you to work wherever you want in the world, all with no overhead?  Network marketing is the sole industry that allows you to accomplish all of these, and you do not have to fork out the thousands upon thousands of dollars to get it started.

How to Run My Business: Do Not Let Other People Tell You What To Do

How to Run My Business

Let me give you an illustration that affects all of us at one point in our business! We let other people tell us what to do…and they know nothing about what we are doing!

Story Time

You are a doctor! You are going in for a routine surgery that you have been doing for years! In preparation for the surgery, you go into meet the patient. You meet them and see how they are feeling that day! After the congeniality, you start discussing the surgery.

While going into detail of exactly what it will look like and how long the procedure will take the patient interrupts. The patient starts waxing eloquent on how they believe the procedure should be done. They go into detail of how you should do your job! The only problem is, they have never been a doctor. They do not know the trade! They honestly know nothing about anything, of what you are doing! Nothing!

At this point, you are flustered! You are not sure what to do! You buckle under the pressure of what the patient is suggesting! Instead of leaning on your expertise, you listen and follow, verbatim what the client tells you!

You start the procedure. About 30 minutes into the procedure you realize quickly that you should have stood up for your expertise! You should have not listened to the patience suggestions, as they have never had any skills in this situation. 30 minutes later…the patient dies! You try to revive her, but to no avail! Disaster!

What to Change

Just like this doctor, many of you allow your potential clients to run your business! You ask them to meet you, but then they ask a little question! “What is it?” You give in! And you vomit part of the information on them! You told them 10% of the presentation, and they made a 100% decision. They think they know! But they do not!

Another example is that you ask them to have a meeting with you! They say they are busy, and instead of scheduling an appointment, they ask you to send an email with a link! You give in and send them an email. They, at their own convenience, go to the link and do their “research.” At this point, they now have made and “educated” decision on your opportunity! They again had 45% information, but made a 100% decision!

Ultimately, you allowed them to tell you how to do YOUR business! They told you step by step of what you should do! Yet, they know NOTHING about what you do! And you followed their advice….and now what? They have made up their mind! And they want nothing to do with it!

Application

“What is it?” …. “Well it is too hard to explain over the phone! It is best we meet. It will only take 30-45 minutes of your time! Unless you have questions of course! I think YOU would really be interested in it! Look if it is not for you, that is totally ok! Does 7PM Thursday work for you?”

“I am really busy, send me a link in an email!”…. “Unfortunately, it is something that it is really MUCH better in person! What does 5:30 on Thursday look like for you?”

See it is your business! You run it! If they are just insistent on trying to get the details before the meeting, just say, “Thanks for talking with me this short bit, obviously it is not the right time for you! We will catch up later!” I promise you, curiosity kills the cat! But DO NOT let the cat out of the bag at that point. Call them back up in few weeks from then. I promise they will be ALL ears at that point!

The Follow Up

Look if you are not going to follow up…. you might as well just quit!! Take your business and go home!  I am sorry…not sorry… for being blunt!  But I love people being successful in their network marketing business, but I hate it, when they do not do the simple stuff!  Do not over complicate your business…but at the same time…DO YOUR BUSINESS….

Look at this chart!! Read it…learn it…act upon it!

Look at the first thing it says. 48% of people NEVER EVER EVER EVER…follow up..>WHAT!!  That is insane… why even invest in the business…why oh why!?!?!

Now look at the last statistic.  80% of Sales…happen AFTER the 5th follow up! THE 5th!  I encourage you….to think about that LONG and HARD!

How to Follow Up

Look if you want to be a salsey salesman you can…but I am going to show you how I do it, and be an effective Businessman… who gives opportunity, not a sales pitch!

1st time-  It is always done with 24-48 hours after the original presentation.. ALWAYS.  Now that you know statistically, that people RARELY ever do anything on the first follow up, we do not want to be pushy!  My very first follow up is…. “Now that you have had a couple of days to look over and research the material, do you have any questions that I can answer for you!?

At this point, if they want to jump in…BY ALL MEANS…let them jump in.  But rarely does that happen.  I want these clients to know that I am here to help them, support them, and to lead them to success.  If they know that I am here just to answer questions for them, it let’s their guard down.

2nd time-  Well honestly…re-read the first time…and repeat!

3rd time-  At this point, especially if they are a friend and not a cold contact, I want them to know that I actually care about their life, outside of business.  So this is a non-specific conversation.  I do not mention anything about anything about the business.  But with certainty…THEY ALWAYS do!  They will bring it up!  Notice again that on the 3rd follow up, only 5% of decisions occur. This is usually about 1 week to 1.5 weeks after the initial presentation.

4th time-  At this point…I am going to ask them how’s life!  But I may ask them if they do have any questions specifically, if the how’s life question does not lead me too far off track.  This may be another week out!

5th time and on-  Look at the numbers they rise incredible amounts on the 5th follow up! LIKE ALOT!  80% of people make a decision on the 5th time or greater!  Look this is where you NEED to get!! This is the money zone.  This is the commitment zone.  This is the team building zone!  Go for it!  Be direct with them.  “Hey Joe, I was calling you specifically to see where you are at with __________________.  We are looking for business partners and I think you are ideal for it!  I am not trying to pressure you, but I just wanted to see where you are at! Are you ready to get started?”

Most of all, be friendly and caring towards them.  Let them know that you are there for them!  If you see them as a paycheck only, you will lose them!  But most importantly…FOLLOW UP, FOLLOW UP, FOLLOW UP!  Remember it is your business, do not let them dictate how to run your business.

Sometime during these conversation you will have objections… READ this to Overcome Objections!

Learn Network Marketing Skills

Learn Network Marketing Skills…but  Move Forward Imperfectly!

See…every business, job, or career has to learn their industry!  They need to know how to make their business run most effective!  Let me tell you Network Marketing is NO different!  There are 2 aspects of this, that make most business owners in network marketing stall or quit!

For the Beginner

Learning all the ins and outs of your business, company, and products at the beginning is not necessary!  We will want to develop these skills, but too often we allow this information to control us!  There is a discipline in Network Marketing and it has to be there!  We need to know what to say…and when to say it.  And we need to know what not to say at the right time!

In the beginning of your network marketing business you need to hone your skills in 3 areas.

  1.  Invitation
  2. Presentation
  3. Follow-up

In any and all of these, when working with them, you need to ask yourself, “is it necessary!”  If it is not necessary for that conversation, than it does not need to be there!  For example, they need to know something about your compensation, but they do not need to know everything.  Give them a few general ideas of how it works. They will want to know how to get their ROI.  They will want to know the basic unique aspects of your compensation plan, and they will need to know a general idea of how the business works or how it would work for them!

We cannot overwhelm them with information.  Truthfully your invitation should be 1 minute or less, your presentation should only last about 45 minutes or less….Definitely less than hour!  Any longer and you have overstepped their boundaries!  How bad is the problem? How much do people forget? Research on the forgetting curve shows that within one hour, people will have forgotten an average of 50 percent of the information you presented. Within 24 hours, they have forgotten an average of 70 percent of new information, and within a week, forgetting claims an average of 90 percent of it.

So if it is not necessary, do not use it!  They get that information in the follow up!  Understand that your skills need to also be honed in the follow up as well.  Often people use the follow up to vomit information on their prospect!  At this point they also can become very “salesie”  If their prospect has an objection to their proposition, they try to swindle them into their business. DON’T DO This!  You need to learn how to handle objections with grace.  You can go the article, “How to Overcome Objections” to learn some of those!

When you are at the beginning people freeze in their business because they do not know what to do, or they are afraid of saying the wrong thing.  Understand this simple thing… Move forward imperfectly!  You do not need to know how to do everything, but you will want to work towards perfection.  Perfecting your skills takes action.  If there is not action, there is no perfection.  Understand practice does not make perfect.  Perfect practice makes perfect.

For the Expert

Once you get started in the business, your goal is to become in expert.  Excellence is a better teacher than mediocrity. The lessons of the ordinary are everywhere. Truly profound and original insights are to be found only in studying the exemplary. You do not want to become just an expert in your company, products, and business; but you will also want to become an expert in the industry!  Learn from the best….learn from those who are professionals! You can obviously listen to those in your company who are professional.  This is a great step!  But understand there is a slew of Resources out there of Masters in the Network Marketing industry, not just masters in your company!  I would highly recommend that you learn from those industry masters!  Learn the 1% of things they do that no one else does!

The best thing to do in network marketing is to move….Understand that you can move forward imperfectly, but need to do so with the understanding of moving forward while learning.

Instant Success in Your Network Marketing Business (7 Simple Steps)

Want to have success in your business? Treat it like a business! Most people are excited about network marketing when they start, but do not realize that they are nervous, scared, and fearful of the work that it actually takes to get it done.
 
They are worried about what other people will say to them about their business. I promise if you treat this like someone who is building a traditional brick and mortar business that you would look at things much different. Here are a few things that will help you each day build your business!
 
 
1. Eleanor Roosevelt said, “Do one thing every day that scares you.” Obviously the more things you do in one day with your business the quicker you are going to build it!
 
2. Make at least 15 presentations a month.
 
3. Set up one on one’s by appointment first. Do home meetings as a second touch. The business world thinks in appointments, not home meetings!
 
4. Rely heavily on 3rd Party validation. Find out who your upline is and call them…often. You do not know everything in the beginning. So let them do the heavy lifting. Remember this is a business about duplication…. Your prospects are looking at what you do! I they are thinking in their mind, “I have to do what this person is doing?!?!” If you make it too hard they may join…but they will quit after a while, if they cannot keep up!
 

5. Remember it is not who you know…but who you do not know that will run this business. Once you get some team builders find out immediately who their network is, and start working with them.

6. Once your team starts growing, find the person in the lowest part of your business and work with them. If you get the lowest person working, then all of the people above them will be locked in!
 

7. Keep it Simple! Do not over complicate network marketing…. I believe that it is one of the easiest business models in the world…. The problem comes in the fact that most people will not takes the steps to build the business like it should be! Hone your skills! Your presentation should be filled with only the things NECESSARY in your business presentation! If it is not necessary, take it out of the presentation. You can always add more information when you follow up!

Remember you have the BEST business model on earth!  Make it successful!

How to Get People to Listen to Your Network Marketing Business

I get it, you are excited about your business!  And why wouldn’t you be!  You have an amazing opportunity right in front of you!  You are a network marketer!  You see the greatest business model on the face of the earth is network marketing.  You love your products, and you want EVERYONE to know about it!  This is great!  Your hair is on fire with excitement!

But before you go tell the world about what you have….make sure you understand what they want!  Often people get in network marketing and they go for the jugular!

They explode their business and products on the prospect before they ever really listen to what their prospect wants or needs!  Not everyone thinks they need what you have!  Now both you know and I know…people are broke!  They need financial help and network marketing is a great key to helping them get out of the financial hole that they have gotten themselves into.  We also know that they need our products…..  but LISTEN….this is important.  NO one…and I mean NO ONE likes to be sold….they LOVE to buy, but no one likes to be sold.

What does this mean.  If you do not give them something of value.  If you do not give them something they want.  If you do not give them something they need.  They will put up a wall about you and your company.  This is yet another reason why I am NOT a fan of people using their personal Facebook accoun for their network marketing business.  When posting on FB, the typical network marketer forces their business and products on their friends/prospects.  Look at your FB feed, how many of your posts or friends posts are on their company….TRUST me…it get’s annoying after awhile, and I LOVE network marketing.  If it is annoying to someone who LOVES network marketing, think about all your friends who do not really UNDERSTAND what you are doing.

Network marketing for the longest of time has been known as the NFL….no friends league.  And I believe this is exactly the reason why it is known as the No Friends League!  Do not be a salesman!  Be a friend who is looking out for your friends.  Show that you care and have interest in them.  Not interest in getting their business!  Give them value not a sales pitch.

In my business whenever I am prospecting someone, I say these!

  • At the very beginning I chat with them for a few minutes so that I get to know them a little better.  Maybe during that brief time I can find some pains or needs in their life that they have currently.
  • I will not ask them to be a distributor….rather I am looking for a business partner.  (distributor implies heavy sales)
  • I tell them that I am not looking for sales people, but rather I want to build a business team through business partners.  (people in general hate sales)
  •  At the very beginning I let them know if it is not for them, that is completely ok with me (I give them an out, before I give them an in)
  • I tell them right up front that I value their friendship and relationship more than my MLM business.  I want to be friends after this conversation even if they say no to what I am offering them!

Remember, you believe that your network marketing company has value, but they will not see that at the beginning.  Give them value, and in turn they will give you time for you to share your company and products with them.  But whatever you do…do NOT be attached to your business.  If they say no…and they will…do not be offended.  Some people just do not get network marketing…and they never will.

How to Be Successful in Network Marketing

There is no magic formula!  There is no secret sauce!  There is no special trick!  But there are great tips to help you become successful and a professional.  What is the difference between a network marketer and a professional network marketer?  The people who become a professional network marketer set themselves up for success in the very beginning of their business.

If you are way past the beginning of your business we are glad you found us!  Now is the time to change what you are doing so that you can move forward faster and set yourself up for success!

Set Up Yourself for Success

Start Like a Pro.  Are you going to be a minimum person?  Or are you going to be a pro?  What does this mean!!  Well people when they jump into business, they treat it from the very beginning as a hobby.  They want to piddle around in their business, rather than really put effort into it!  They want to see if it works.  Let me tell you something about network marketing….”If you work the business like a business…it really works and pays like a business!  But if you play around with it like a hobby, it will only pay you like a hobby.

If you are going to commit to being in network marketing, I would encourage you to commit WHOLEHEARTEDLY!  People who only go in halfway/minimum into network marketing…  only get minimum out of network marketing.  MLM has a bad stigma to it, and the reason for that, is that often people do not really commit to it.  They then broadcast to everyone else in the world, that it does not work!  This is SOOO untrue!

If you come in minimum and expect pro expectations, the only thing you will get is frustration and discouragement!  The “I Quit” or “Network Marketing doesn’t work” attitude will come shortly their after!

The minimum person says things like “If I don’t go to convention, will you bring me home the notes!”  This person wants to do the minimum thing and also wants to get the maximum compensation!  It WILL NOT work!

1.  Sign Up With the Highest Package Available

Let’s say your start-up package is $1200.  If you want to build a brick and mortar business, or buy into a franchise, that $1200 is JUST stationery for that company.  This is just a tiny fraction of a traditional business.  The reason why there are levels of packages is because the highest package is there for the SERIOUS person!  This is the serious business builder.  This is for the one who really wants to run in the business!  You only have one story!  You only have one start!

If you go to the smaller packages you are only half in the business!  You are not committed!  You do not have the skin in the game to move forward with getting the business moving faster! You are only in halfway to becoming that Professional Network Marketer!  This network marketing game is a game of imitation.  Your prospects will do as you do!  Do you want all of them to come in halfway?  Do you want all of them to work half hearted to becoming a professional?

2.  Familiarize Yourself

You do need to know about your business, company, and products!  However, in the beginning do not let these rule your life!  Rely on your team to help you be successful.  Many times people get all of the information and vomit the information on all of their potential clients….this can be detrimental!  Have your team do the presentations for you.  I also DO NOT RECOMMEND you using social media.   Trust me on this one!  Your friends are forming a biased opinion everytime you post something on social media.  They have not heard all the information, yet they are making a 100% decision upon the little information that they have been giving! Also….it is ANNOYING!  Many people unfollow or unfriend there friends on social media because of the constant bombardment of network marketing.

I have seen my friends on Facebook, make post after post after post after post after post about their company and products.  They then call me and say, “Hey there is something I want to share with you.”  By the time they finish the sentence, I told them I know that you are in “such and such a company” and I am not interested.  However, let me tell you a little about myself. I am a professional network marketer.  I am in the top ranks of our entire company.  Let me help you build your business.  This is what you should and should not do.”  In other words, I saw them coming from a mile away.  I did not give them the TIME of day to educate me on their opportunity!  If you look at my Facebook page, you will see that I have NEVER ever posted one thing about my network marketing business. Most of my friends have NO clue that I am a professional network marketer.

Learn about your company.  Learn about their past, present, and future.  Learn about their products.  But UNDERSTAND…you are not the message.  You are the educator!  Do not be a salesman….be a business owner.  Be a professional.

 

3.  Attend Events

I know what you are thinking, but trust me on this one!  You need to be there!  Commit to going to every corporate run event!  It is a must!  Conventions, regionals, and local meetings are a must for your business.  Look at it this way, are you a professional network marketer?  Most likely not, that is why you are reading this!  Do you want to be one?  Then you need to learn from those who are successful!  You need to learn from the professionals.  Do not reinvent the wheel.  Learn from those who are successful.  Do not try to figure it out on your own!  They know, because they have been there!

 

4.  Get Your Database

You want to build your database into at least 200 names and into 4 different categories.  You will define them as Cold, Warm, Hot, and Chicken List.

Cold-  People you do not know…say a waiter or waitress

Warm-  People you know, but are not your closest of friends.  Your family should ALSO be in this category.  WHY?  They are your BIGGEST critic.  They are going to think you are crazy for joining network marketing.

Hot-  These are people who you “KNOW” will join.  These are people you can walk right into their house and grab food out of the refrigerator.

Chicken List-  This is your BEST prospects.  Most of the time, these are the people who make the business run.  These are people who you respect.  They have influence in many areas.

You are going to want to start with your Cold and Hot list first.  These people are usually the most forgiving of your invite.  You do not want to spoil your Warm and Chicken list market until you have perfected your inviting skills.

5.  Educate Yourself

What is the difference between a doctor and a pre-med student?  What is the difference between a professional athlete and an amatuer athlete?  What is the difference between a lawyer and one who uses legalzoom?  Very simple….they all have the education.  Yes experience as well. But education is the key.  You need to learn what they do.  Here is a RESOURCE list of books, that I would HIGHLY recommend you to read.  You need to educate yourself.  Most career fields expect at least a 4 year degree, why would we think that we can just jump into network marketing and think that we will be an instant success?  Learn your industry and learn about your company, and learn it from the professionals.

If you can jump into your business with these 5 steps…you are well on your way to becoming a professional network marketer.  Obviously, this is just the beginning, but you are now on your way to making great leaps and bounds to becoming professional.

Building an Unlimited Database for Your Network Marketing Business (Great Scripts at the bottom)

So you are thinking about starting a network marketing business, or maybe you are already head long into it, and you have just now stopped to realize you do not know many people!  This is usually one of the biggest hurdles that people have to get over when they join a network marketing business.  Most people think they need to know everyone in order for this business to be successful!  This is just not true!
If you build your business right, you do not need to know everyone, you just need to know how to get to the rest of the network.
Let us start off with the word network. A network is a group of two or more people linked together.  See the key is not who you know, but who they know!  You do not need to know everyone, but just a few people.  Ask yourself who do they know?  Who is in their contact list?  Who is in their network?

Six degrees of separation is the theory that everyone and everything is six or fewer steps away, by way of introduction, from any other person in the world, so that a chain of “a friend of a friend” statements can be made to connect any two people in a maximum of six steps.

Now that we see the theory, who do you have connections to in this world?  Today with social media, those connections are getting easier and easier to find.  It always interests me when a new friend ask to be my friend, who their mutual contacts are!  Don’t let your small network make you fearful of network marketing.  There are 7.1 billion people in the world. You have a huge network.

Think about one of your friends who you know.  Ask them who they know that is:  broke, poor, living paycheck to paycheck, running out of money before running out of month, looking for other sources of income, looking to maximize their income, or want to get some retirement?

Those questions right there should have opened a whole world of possibilities!  Even if a person just moved to the area, they really have an unlimited network!  Do not let the “few” people you actually know determine the success in your business.  For those already in your business, as business partners, ask them who they know, and start working with them to contact those people.  Be there with them as they make those contacts.  Do not expect them to make the phone calls in the beginning with perfection.  Be a leader and help them with their invitation and phone calls.  Once you start bringing their network in…you do the same system with the new person’s network.

Want to reach your COLD contacts, here are just a few quick scripts.

Waiter or Waitress

“I like how you served us today. You were very personable and reasonable in your timing to help us with our needs.  We are looking for people just like you as business partners for our company.  Are you interested in earning other income?”

“I like how you served us today. You were very personable and reasonable in your timing to help us with our needs.  We are looking for people just like you as business partners for our company.  Are you interested in working for yourself?”

“I like how you served us today. You were very personable and reasonable in your timing to help us with our needs.  We are looking for people just like you as business partners for our company.  Are you interested in building a business?”

Cashier

“I have been coming to this store for a long time now.  I have been in your line many times and have always noticed how personable you have been.  I really appreciate that about you. I am looking for people just like you. Are you interested in earning other income?”

Airplane (and most other situations)

Typically this conversation wraps around the what do you do for work thing.  I would highly recommend that you don’t jump down their throat with your company.  But rather say, “I am a network marketer.”   You would be amazed at how many people do not know what that means.  Once they ask what it is, proceed to tell them the difference between linear income and residual income.

Your job, to a person you do not know, is to hook them on something they want more information about.  I always talk about residual income to people.  Most people do not know what it is, and most people do not know how to get it.  At this point, you need to get their information and schedule an appointment to show them how you get it, and how they can get it too.

After I confirm a set meeting, I always ask them one question.  Are you coachable and teachable?  I believe anyone can be successful at network marketing as long as they have those characteristics.  If they confirm yes, then I confirm the date of the appointment.  This appointment is made for the near future, typically within 24-48 hours after the initial residual income plug.

At this point, I have not said ONE word about my mlm company or our products. I  have merely mentioned residual income and how it works.  Oh, by the way I often reference Robert Kiyosaki’s book Cashflow Quadrant. I help them to understand between the corporate world and the business system.

What Professional Network Marketers DO…That The Others Won’t!

You may be asking yourself this exact same question.  How do they get to be professional network marketers? We start throwing out all types of excuses as to why we are not professional network marketers:

  • I do not have enough contacts
  • The timing is gone with the company
  • My downline is not working
  • I don’t have the time
  • They do not pay me enough to continue wanting to work
  • The company changed

 

Are these valid?  Well this is really what separates the Professional MLMer from the wanna be professional MLMer!  See here is the magic lotion and potion of network marketing….are you ready?  I mean this is big!! This is huge!  You better have a piece of paper and a pen ready to write down the magic sauce for how to be a professional network marketer!

Secret-Sauce

The secret sauce is that the professional network marketer does the 1% that no one else will do!  No seriously that is it!  They do not make excuses!  They do not quite, they do not allow frustration to be the center of their attention.  Let us be honest.  Building a business (ANY type of business) is HARD work!  It is the 1% that they successful do, that the, if you will, losers won’t.  As my mentor Eric Worre says, network marketing is not perfect, it is just better!  I have to say…I AGREE!

How am I successful?  I did not quite when it seemed like I should! I did not give up, when all indications said to give up.  During my time of beginning my network marketing business, I had several people in my upline say that they were going ALL the way to the top.  They were going to make it no matter how hard it was.  They were the most competitive person they knew and nothing would stop them.  They said that no matter what changes may come, they will still press on!  Well guess what… they have now quit!

Here is a news flash…Things change in MLM companies ALL the time!  As a professional network marketer have those changes ever affected my business so much that I lost my business…. And long term in all cases they typically have helped my business grow faster!  People often complain about how companies change and that it has affected their business.  I can tell you the only thing that has affected their business, is their attitude!

Your attitude is a choice!  Remember those words…you can choose to have a good attitude and you can choose to have a bad one.  Here is something else that you can do!  You can choose to be the 1% or you can choose not to!  Your business is your business, and no one else’s!  Do not blame the company, your team, your downline, your upline, the compensation, the products, the business, or anything else!  The reason why you are not where you want to be in your business is very simple! You choose not to do the 1%!

My downline, company, compensation, products, or anything else determine my success in my company!  I did not become a professional network marketer by accident.  It happened because I worked hard at it!  It is a biblical principle, you reap what you sow!  If you want to quit, remember the only one to blame is yourself!  You chose not to do the 1%.  You joined a MLM company, because you saw the difference! You saw that it was better.  You saw that there was hope!  And you know what….you were right!  I would encourage you, to stop making excuses and start doing the 1%! Start doing what the rest of your team will not!  Make the calls, contact people, invite people to meetings, become professional, by being and acting like a professional!

If you do not know what makes a professional network marketer a professional…go ahead…find one…and ask them!  How does a professional football player become a professional?  How does a professional musician become professional?  They learn the trade, and become the best at it!  Find those professional MLMers and ask them, study them, and then most important….do what they do!11188298_828589033863073_4579759526477777770_n

The INVITE! For Network Marketing

The invitation is extremely important.  If you cannot get someone in a seat, then there is NO WAY you can ever show them the opportunity!  And if you cannot do that…then you DO NOT have a business!

By the time this timer goes down, you should be off the phone. No really…if you are longer..you are talking WAY TOO MUCH! You are vomiting information on the person!  They will not want to have ANYTHING to do with your business, because most likely they will not have any clue what you are talking about or they will not feel like they can do what you just did!  This is why it is SOO important for you to get on the phone and get off the phone in 1 minute or less!

It is important for you to make urgency to your phone call!

Say something like, “Hey how are you_______?………..I cannot talk long, but what are you doing this evening at 7PM.  There is something I would like to share with you!  If it is not for you, no worries, but I thought specifically about you! And thought this is something that you SPECIFICALLY would be interested in!”

That’s it…that’s all!  No more…just get on…and get off the phone!  Now I would encourage you to make it a little more of your personality…but that is the general script of what you need to do.

Well what if they say, “Well what is it?”  Well this is where you have already gave yourself an out….you already said that you cannot talk long, so you an say, “listen I have to get off the phone, but 7pm tonight right?”

Do not over complicate your invitation. K.I.S.S..  Keep it simple!  Let the 3rd party do the conversation.  You just need to get people in seats…that’s your job.  And it is your teams job to show them the opportunity!  The more you complicate the business, the more your prospects will not want to be a part of the business.
